We're recently back from a packed trip to ETH Denver and San Francisco, bringing home exciting updates from key partnerships, breakthroughs in smart glasses, promising meetings with robotics giants, and interesting developments in our token economics. Here's a quick breakdown of what's been happening:

ETH Denver and Mentra Collaboration

Our time at ETH Denver was incredibly productive, filled with meaningful conversations and new partnerships. After Denver, we spent valuable time in San Francisco with Mentra, creators of AugmentOS, the first smart glasses operating system with built-in posemesh support.

Mentra, founded by former Auki contributors Cayden and Alex, is gaining impressive traction:

• Secured investments from Paul Graham and Android co-founder.
• Presented their 60-second pitch at Y Combinator Demo Day.

An intriguing statistic emerged—15% of AugmentOS users wear their smart glasses for over eight hours daily, a massive leap forward in wearable tech adoption.

“In just the last few months, smart glasses have finally reached the critical 40-gram weight. The hardware is ready; the software is catching up quickly," Nils remarked.

Upcoming Robotics Partnerships

We're excited to announce that one of China's leading robotics firms is visiting our office soon, hinting at potential significant collaborations. Robotics remains a key growth area, with Phil, our head of robotics, continuously receiving new partnership requests and hardware to explore.

Investor Momentum and Industry Influence

This past week saw continued engagement with investors, ranging from individual high-net-worth enthusiasts to major investment funds. Our unique vision for decentralized machine perception is resonating strongly across the industry:

“It's exciting to see how our narrative and language around robotics and crypto is catching on,” Nils shared. "It's fantastic to watch other founders adopting terms we've introduced."

DePIN Partnerships and Interoperability

We recently recorded a podcast episode with Geodnet's Mike Horton, clarifying how Auki and Geodnet complement each other:

• Auki focuses on visual positioning systems (VPS), Geodnet on RTK (Real-Time Kinematics).
• Both companies aim to form interoperable standards under the Intercognitive initiative alongside peaq and Mawari.

“Intercognitive's goal is to make the physical world accessible to AI. That remains our highest leverage aim.”

Tokenomics: Strategic Token Burns

Token utility and economics remain a priority. Our updated token burn model charges differently based on data types used (e.g., RGB vs. pose updates). Anticipated burns could reach significant scale:

• Estimated $100-$125 monthly burns per location, targeting 100,000 locations by 2028.
• Potential annual token burns could reach approximately $120 million by end-2028.
