In the near future where billions of robots, physical AI, smart glasses, drones, autonomous vehicles, and most other computers in the world are spatial computers, they'll need to be able to perceive and understand the physical world. And for that, they'll need infrastructure everywhere in the world.
At Auki, we're building the decentralized machine perception network that will become the nervous system for AI and other spatial computers. While we already have hundreds of infrastructure providers all over the world, the setup process contains too much friction for scaling up to ubiquity.
That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that Auki Network is the first project to be featured on the NuNet Appliance—a pioneering solution designed to lower the barriers to entry for decentralized compute participation.
Simplifying the onboarding process for node operators is a big priority for us at Auki. Currently, setting up a relay or domain node requires a publicly accessible static IP address along with knowledge of port management, Docker commands, DNS configuration, and more.
This is where NuNet comes in. Last August, we announced our partnership with them and our intent to address this issue together. Since then, the NuNet team has developed an intuitive, all-in-one solution that dramatically simplifies the process of deploying and managing decentralized infrastructure—including Auki Network nodes. Soon, anyone interested in contributing their spare compute to the Auki Network can get up and running with just a few clicks and guided prompts from the NuNet Appliance.
Our integration with NuNet is a major step toward making participation in the Auki Network more accessible to a broader community of participants.
By helping Auki to ensure that anyone with available compute resources can contribute to the future of decentralized AI perception, NuNet is giving DePIN yet another edge in our race against centralized physical AI alternatives—alternatives that threaten to lock humanity into a world where spatial computing is synonymous with surveillance.
With solutions like the NuNet Appliance, we're driving toward a future where critical infrastructure is funded, owned, and operated by the people.
Join our Discord and stay tuned for more news in the next few weeks on when you can deploy an Auki node with the NuNet Appliance!
NuNet is a decentralized computing and orchestration platform designed to connect global compute resources into a unified, scalable, and intelligent network. By leveraging underutilized computing power from data centers, cloud infrastructure, and individual devices, NuNet enables efficient and cost-effective execution of workloads across a distributed ecosystem.
Auki is making the physical world accessible to AI by building the real world web: away for robots and digital devices like smart glasses and phones to browse, navigate, and search physical locations.
70% of the world economy is still tied to physical locations and labor, so making the physical world accessible to AI represents a 3X increase in the TAM of AI in general. Auki's goal is to become the decentralized nervous system of AI in the physical world, providing collaborative spatial reasoning for the next 100bn devices on Earth and beyond.
