Hopefully, some of you have had a chance to read The Posemesh Manifesto draft Nils Pihl, Auki Labs CEO, posted in the Aukiverse Discord here.
The posemesh's mission and vision is to become the decentralized spatial computing protocol for the next 100 billion devices, people, and AI.
To better align with that mission, we will be open sourcing a number of posemesh components, starting with Hagall, the decentralized networking infrastructure of the posemesh.
Open sourcing Hagall is a significant step towards transparency and community involvement. It allows us to tap into the collective intelligence of the community, encouraging auditing, improvements, and innovation. We believe that the best way to build a robust, secure, and efficient system is by working together, and we are excited to see the contributions that will come from this decision.
Open sourcing Hagall should reinforce our commitment to privacy and security by:
This move underlines our belief in the power of decentralization. We are excited about this new chapter for the posemesh and welcome collaboration with our community to build a more secure and efficient spatial computing protocol.
We are still making preparations, but expect Hagall to be open sourced by February 10th, 2024.
Thank you for your continued support and belief in our mission.
Auki is making the physical world accessible to AI by building the real world web: away for robots and digital devices like smart glasses and phones to browse, navigate, and search physical locations.
70% of the world economy is still tied to physical locations and labor, so making the physical world accessible to AI represents a 3X increase in the TAM of AI in general. Auki's goal is to become the decentralized nervous system of AI in the physical world, providing collaborative spatial reasoning for the next 100bn devices on Earth and beyond.
