Auki community update recap: Jul 12, 2025

Enterprise Expansion, Robot Diplomacy, and Spatial AI Innovations

July has gotten off to an exciting start filled with new developments and promising opportunities. Here’s a snapshot of the latest happenings at Auki:

Finalizing Our Largest Enterprise Deal Yet

We’re in the final stages of negotiating our largest enterprise deployment yet—approximately 2,000 locations. This potential client has expressed interest in paying three years of service fees upfront, which would significantly strengthen our financial position.

Upon finalizing this deal, we plan to allocate around 10% of this upfront payment toward an $AUKI token buyback on the open market. If everything proceeds as expected, this could result in a sizable buyback and burn, bolstering the token ecosystem and demonstrating our commitment to our community.

Terry, Our Humanoid Ambassador

Our humanoid robot intern, Terri, continues to make headlines:

  • Fortune Magazine: Terri will be the first humanoid robot interviewed by Fortune Magazine, further spotlighting our pioneering work in robotics and AI.
  • Meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister: In mid-August, Terri and our team will meet with the Prime Minister of Malaysia to discuss the rapid growth of AI in Asia and Auki’s role in shaping this exciting future.

Integration with the peaq Ecosystem

We've successfully bridged to peaq and listed Auki on MachineX, peaq’s decentralized exchange. Community members from both Auki and peaq will soon benefit from joint incentives and collaborative activities. This integration provides new avenues for our token holders to engage actively with the broader DePIN ecosystem.

Technological Progress: Automated 3D Mesh Generation

Our engineering team, led by Robin, showcased significant advancements in our spatial AI capabilities, including automated 3D mesh generation. This technology enables robots, smart glasses, and smartphones to better understand their physical environments through real-time 3D reconstruction using simple RGB camera feeds—without expensive LiDAR sensors.

Such innovations further solidify Auki’s leadership in accessible and scalable spatial intelligence technology.

Community Participation and Node Testing

We're inviting the community to participate in beta testing our reconstruction nodes—allowing volunteers to contribute GPU resources to process spatial data. If you have a powerful GPU (RTX 3070 or above), apply here to join us in testing and refining our infrastructure.

Join the Journey

We continue to invite developers, community members, and enthusiasts to contribute to our open-source initiatives, build AR experiences, and help decentralize our technology further.

Stay connected by joining our community Discord—the best place for timely updates, insider insights, and direct involvement in building the future of spatial AI.

Exciting times ahead!

About Auki Labs

Auki is building the Auki network, a decentralized machine perception network for the next 100 billion people, devices and AI on Earth and beyond. The Auki network is a posemesh, an external and collaborative sense of space that machines and AI can use to understand the physical world.

Our mission is to improve civilization’s intercognitive capacity; our ability to think, experience and solve problems together with each other and AI. The greatest way to extend human reach is to collaborate with others. We are building consciousness-expanding technology to reduce the friction of communication and bridge minds.

About the Auki network

The Auki network is a posemesh: a decentralized machine perception network and collaborative spatial computing protocol, designed to allow digital devices to securely and privately exchange spatial data and computing power to form a shared understanding of the physical world.

The Auki network is an open-source protocol that powers a decentralized, blockchain-based spatial computing network. Designed for a future where spatial computing is both collaborative and privacy-preserving, it limits any organization's surveillance capabilities and encourages sovereign ownership of private maps of personal and public spaces.

The decentralization also offers a competitive advantage, especially in shared spatial computing sessions, AR for example, where low latency is crucial.
